Finding out my elderly fathers stairlift was not working just before he was due to be discharged from hospital left me in a difficult position as I live in the Midlands but Only Lifts were very helpful and arranged promptly to have a look at it and hopefully fix it. At the last minute it was decided to remove the lift which they did immediately, leaving little sign of there ever having been a lift in place. Without asking they arranged for VAT exemption which I hadn't even considered. I was very pleased with their service.

I rented a stair lift from these guys over a the two week Christmas Period to make it possible for my husbands elderly Nan to spend the holidays with us. Gary was helpful, professional and friendly. There was no damage to my stairs (which I was concerned about) and the price was very reasonable (much less that I was anticipating actually). It turned out to be Nan's last Christmas so we are so happy that she was able to spend it with the whole family. Very minimal hassle and disruption. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Gary and Only Lifts to anybody who needs a stairlift (Rental or otherwise). Thank you for giving us a Christmas to remember Gary and Team!

I had been trapped in my basement flat for years because I could not get up the stairs anymore. Getting a stairlift was a big issue for me and I’m very glad I did it. It has been a genuine life changer. Maybe I was lucky that I picked Only Lifts to Install my outdoor stairlift, maybe it was fate. I certainly did my homework and contacted all those companies that advertise in magazines or on the internet. It took me ages but buying a stairlift was a very big investment for me. Initially almost every company said they could do it and they'd make me a really good price. Very soon I had to strike one after the other from my list: Some had to admit they couldn't do it after all, some asked exorbitant amounts and other had the audacity to offer me lifts that were listed in every catalogue as 'for indoors only'. One friendly agent of one of the big companies who said they wouldn't do any outdoor lifts asked me if I asked Only Lifts, a local company he knew would do it. I have to confess I thought locals would be more expensive and not as experienced. I could not have been more wrong. In the end I had reps from three or four companies come by. They looked at it, said no problem and quoted a price. Only one company said \your stairs are not wide enough - but we can take care of that\. And that they did. And of all the electrics. And of my railing which wasn't up to building code. Everything. I had to do nothing myself other than a cup of tea. How long did it take? From signature to ready-to-use: not even two weeks. I cannot imagine anyone doing a better job than Only Lifts and I can wholeheartedly recommend them. Feel free to contact me if you want to have a look at my stairlift. PS: A little anecdote. When it started raining heavily while they were widening the stairs, they said we'll have to come back tomorrow (Saturday!) at nine. Yeah right, I thought. Next morning it rained, but not a lot. Nine o'clock sharp I saw them outside finishing the job.

I cannot speak too highly of Only Lifts. First class service from start to finish, with excellent workmanship and respect for my home and myself. No need to pay over the top to the boys with the glossy brochures and pressure sales methods when Only Lifts can offer low prices that leave the big names standing.
