Really lovely shepherd huts, great layout and size. Very clean facilities and private loo. Great location for a 30/40 minute walk to Salcombe and a short drive to Hope Cove. Great views from the hut. Have already recommended to people & will be back! Thanks for a great stay!
Absolutely fantastic accomodation!! I have stayed at the site previously in a caravan and love the location, the facilities and Jon and Vicky are always friendly and happy to help. The site itself is in a wonderful location and there is a really relaxed atmosphere throughout. This is the first time i have stayed in one of the shepherds huts and i will definitely be back. It has everything you need for eating, cooking etc, the bed is very comfortable and everything you need is provided. There is a large grassed area around the hut with fantastic views of the surrounding fields and the estuary. Unlike with a tent or a van you can just rock up, leave your bags then head into the fabulous Salcombe for a pint and fish and chips. The wood burning stove would also make this a very cosy hideaway during the autumn and winter months. In my opinion the price for what you get is an absolute bargain, particularly when you compare it to similar huts/pods on other sites. You get much more for your money and the location is pretty hard to beat. Thanks again Vicki and Jon!!
Absolutely phenomenal place! Just had a long weekend here with my mate and my crazy ginger dog and it couldn't have been better. It's an idyllic location with amazing views, great facilities, right next to Salcombe and run by lovely people. What more could you ask for!
Stayed for 3 nights in The Potting Shed this last weekend and loved it. Super clean, very comfy and decorated beautifully. Perfect location, and fab view. Will definitely be booking again. Highly recommend.
After our holiday was cancelled by the board of directors at Thomas Cook we jumped in the car and popped down to Devon. We had an absolutely amazing time at the Shepherds huts! Really quiet, left to kick back and relax. Weather wasn't perfect but as long as you're not far from the wood burning stove it doesn't matter. Everything was very clean and tidy with everything you could possibly need. Shower/toilet block was very clean and tidy too. Thank you for a wonderful holiday at a pretty stressful time!
Lovely place. Stayed in the potting shed the hut was amazing. Deffently planning another trip to the huts! The toilet facilities are clean and spacious. The place is set in such a lovly spot! With the local butcher/farm shop just walking distance which we got our breakfast for the following morning. Thank you
