At the time i went it was vibrant, full of people dancing and good music on. Hope it returns soon within the possibilities, to allow people a good night of dancing and chilling

Drinks were cool, tasted nice. Got charged twice for one drink which really makes me not want to come back. Staff tried to charge me more for service charge without asking me, I work in a restaurant and we never do that. Overall nice look, but dislike the service.
It's such a shame about Bar Salsa, a great idea but they seem to employ the nastiest people in London. And I mean nasty. The bouncers, the bartenders, intentionally rude and dismissive throughout. It's as if they go out of their way to be unpleasant and rude to people. If covid-19 caused this place to shut down, it would be a blessing. Many of the people here really don't deserve a job working with the public. Advice to management would be to pick decent people with manners and basic respect to work for them.
Where do I start... We were ignored for about 15 minutes before even being seated despite the restaurant being very quiet The waiting and ignoring continued for the whole visit. Over an hour to even take our order, Our drinks took about half an hour and were definitely not worth the wait!! Yet another half an hour of waiting for the bill after asking for it which was only bought to us as we put our coats on. I can not complain about the food, it was spot on and filled a hole for sure, but clearing our table before we even finished is plain rude. Half way through our meal we were confronted by what seemed like a 'manager' asking us what the problem was as apparently we kept staring at them and making them feel pressured and uncomfortable. Quite frankly this is the rudest service I have received and it made us feel uncomfortable to be in the restaurant. As you can imagine I will not be returning to Salsa! Due to the awful service and rude staff.
Really disappointing evening. Came here for some drinks, sat at the table for 20 minutes trying to get the waitresses attention but we were unable, so we decided to download the app and order through there. After that the drinks and food came quickly and were quite nice, but the initial service was quite poor. Other tables near us were also trying to get servers to come over unsuccessfully.
Wonderful experience post covid-19, dancing is not available yet but this historic venue reopened as bar & restaurant without losing atmosphere and vibes which is famous for. You can download the app “my pub” to place an order which help to keep distances having a safe & clean table service. Salsa was busy last Saturday but the place is big and tables were well distanced so I felt really safe. I was looking forward to go out so I love you more then always, this is definitely my favourite place in London!!
Very average. Music isnt great nor is the food. Parents used to frequent here. Bouncers are unreasonable and controlling. Wouldn't frequent here again. It's a shame as well used to be a nice place.
A lively venue with lots going on (football on TV, salsa classes, music and a hen party on the adjacent table) plus Happy Hour and a Tastecard deal into the bargain. The food was good although the fries could have been fresher. All in all, a birthday to remember.
