Good for kidsNo restaurant
Very interesting display of bygone toys, mainly focusing on dolls, very reasonable entry fees (3.50 for adults as of June 2018) only reason not 5 stars is they don't offer a information booklet about the museum and its contents which I would have loved there to have been as I would have gladly purchased one to learn more.

What a surprise, only wanted to buy something for my hobby and the owner Jackie was very helpful. Will call again nice to know that there is so much to see in the shop alone. Never went in the museum, with what I saw I am sure it would be very enlightening.
Quirky little out of the way shop and museum. I've wanted to visit here for about 20 years to see a particular doll. It takes about 15-20 minutes to look at and read the exhibit cards. There's no parking, so try the pub a short walk down the hill, have a beer or cider to repay the use of their car park and drop in. The museum is open almost all year. Some very rare and old items.
The children did a quiz on the way round which was great beautiful museum the girls loved it one of their favourite places on our trip well worth a visit
I like museums i been to the doll and toy museum on the isle of Wight a long time ago it a lot of historical stuff and very old of doll and toys off many years ago it very interesting too
Cute and quaint dolls house. It take about 30-45 mins if doll collection interests you. It is nice to see the interest and contribution of the donors to save this dying tradition and give a home to their loved dolls. Many have a story to tell and there are pictures/letters with the doll or pertaining to it. There is a small souvenir shop attached through which we enter the museum. The souvenir shop sells dolls, doll house furniture, and all accessories related to dolls. Entry to the museum is 3.50. Overall a small yet nice museum.
More dolls than anything else and done very freaky ones. Interesting for adults and older children. Very good value shop selling bits for dolls houses.
Lovely little museum, well worth a visit if you are nearby!
