Really lovely walks, especially at dusk! I saw a herd of deer and a barn owl along with many other wonderful animals when I went for my walk just yesterday! Parts are closed off due to lockdown, but nonetheless, a truly stunning place and one of my go-to walks in the evening. Still worth the trip!

One of the best locations in the Suffolk cost and heaths AONB - great hides on this site and stunning views - unfortunately, no dog access on the RSPB trails, but lots of public footpath access all round the site

Interesting nature reserve which seems to play off the fact that Springwatch is filmed there. The reserve itself is well maintained and there were three walks being suggested when we visited ranging between 1 and 2 miles (wasn’t clear how off-piste you could go if you wanted). In these Covid days, the precautions implemented were significant and obvious. Sanitiser, social distancing signs, queuing points, and rather long one way systems! Had a coffee in the small cafe which wasn't the best. Didn't try any of the food though. There were a few benches outside to eat at. There were a few areas for kids with things to do. Not all of the hides were open and those that were were restricted in numbers. Definitely a good place to take binoculars! Lots of parking is available. It is quite expensive (9 an adult, 5 per child).

Like all reserves I suppose, the more often you visit the more likely you are to see 'something special, however I seem to see special somethings at Minsmere every time I visit. It is really worth a trip there. The have a good cafe too. The staff are cheerful, helpful and friendly.
