Absolutely awesome. Even better with the live actor.
Always loved the terror tower when I was a child but was always too scared to go in, I just loved the ‘man holding his head’ and his vulture on the entrance they’re unfortunately no longer there though, I wonder why they got removed they made the place! Since I’ve got older I’ve been in here a couple times and it really hasn’t changed since I was little (a good 18 years) seems to have all the same dummies and scenes inside as it did all them years ago, and a lot of them are covered in dust, you can just tell they’re very old as they’re falling apart, you can also see a lot of the mechanisms making the props work which takes away from the illusion. Tbh it’s worth a visit more for the laugh than anything else, I wouldn’t say it’s scary, the only part that genuinely made me jump was the dinosaurs head coming down as you really don’t expect it, I also haven’t been in when there’s live actors so that probably adds a lot more thrill to it. When I think of Scarborough this is one of the first things that pops into my head from my childhood and I love it for that reason!.
Very humorous !! More Bally laugh than scary, but well worth a visit !!
