Open to families, educational settings, and for Birthday parties.Based in Messingham, Scunthorpe, children can explore life as a builder, doctor, actor, shop assistant, vet or police officer - or maybe something completely different!With 15 play areas specifically designed to encourage their curiosity, children can expand and develop their imagination with realistic and age- appropriate props to create an authentic and fun experience.With three 90-minute sessions each day, at 9.30am 11.30am and 1.30pm children have plenty of time to explore all that Play Avenue has to offer. Advanced booking is recommended! There’s an on-site café with drinks and snacks to help recharge little batteries and a seating area for parents to chill out with a coffee and watch the kids play.

A most amazing fun place to which I took our granddaughters, 2 years and 5 years, of which the oldest said later, \that was the loveliest play\. A really engaging environment letting children be children and the adults be children too! If thoroughly recommend Play Avenue. Brilliantly planned out with fantastic activities stimulate your children. It's experiential. Thank you Amanda, that's a wonderful place you've built there.

Well-thought-out play centre which is well-presented as a row of shops/businesses with lots of good quality toys/dressing up clothes to play with. There is also a circular road in front of the shops with pedal-cars, trikes, etc and a 'village green' complete with caravan and ice cream van. I like the fact that the play area is 're-set' after each session to allow each child to have the same initial experience. Although aimed at younger children, our girls aged 6 and 8 still love going and spend a lot of time role-playing with the dolls. My only niggle would be that the cafe seating area is a little compact and there are sometimes more parents than chairs.
