We picked up Rex from 4 Paws in December 2017. The first few weeks we had a couple of issues until the little guy understood the pecking order but that's how it is with pack animals. We got lots of advice and help when we asked for it and offers to come visit us from the 4 Paws staff. Rex is shaping into a great dog, although he does seem a bit thick (proabaly how he got himself caught) he is fitting in after a couple of months. Some may need time and effort to adjust :-)

I was wary at first watching for a few months the way all the rescues operated on Facebook wondering if they were genuine.. Then I spotted a little dog and got in touch with the 4 Paws team. They responded quickly and were very caring. Ruth Lewis was very reassuring as she wanted to pairing to be right. I've got two small children and was looking for a young but calm-ish dog... She was fantastic, helping with advice, from what food, to all the practical things I would need etc before the dog arrived. She also makes you aware of the settling in period.. Some dogs have never experienced a home and smells, noises that go with them. All this was SO helpful. My little scruff has been home now six months now, she is very submissive loads of fun but not over barring for the children and the children adore her!!! I recommend whole heartedly and thank them for our wonderful new member of our family.

Do not adopt from this rescue. Told that the dogs are cat and child friendly. The dogs have not been near children. Rescue states it offers free advice but will ignore your messages. Rescue says the chips are registered but they are not. Bringing over potentially dangerous dogs. Amazing job they do saving these dogs. Don't dispute that. Nothing on contract that states no refunds. Will only give you bare minimum information. They didn't know they even spayed my dog. Not on records. Bad communication in every possible way. This rescue is not what they seem. I guess when you rate your own rescue shows how bad things are. Even worse when they ask members to give them a review to be entered into a raffle. Making themselves look wonderful. Why would you do live videos? Never did that before. Or is it just for show. I see 4paws are being extra cautious customers should want to leave reviews for 4paws based on their experiences. Not just for a raffle.

We picked up Riley on Saturday. We are so happy with our little boy and pleased we can give him a loving warm home. He has settled in so well couldn't be more thankful. I would highly recommend adopting a dog or cat from this rescue Libby and team have been amazing!

I cannot thank 4 paws enough. I got bella a few months ago and she has helped my family so much. She is now a therapy dog for my autistic son. She is truly an amazing dog. I would never hesitate to use 4paws again. Bella has really changed our lives for the better. Thank you so much everyone️

I adopted my little Romanian rescue from here just over a month ago. It took just a week from seeing her on Facebook to actually having her delivered as she was already in England. She's a beautiful little dog and apart from the a few initial spats with my two existing dogs she has settled in beautifully. She's obviously never lived in a home before but she soon took to it like a duck to water! The communication was good, she was delivered exactly where and when they said with all the paperwork, and she's a perfectly healthy little dog!

5* Adopted Angel a few months ago. It was a lovely, friendly environment with lots of happy dogs and cats to greet you! They really make sure each dog is going to the best home with lovely home checkers. Couldn't recommend enough.

We adopted our dog 6 months ago. They told us she was in perfect health, far from it, she had pneumonia when we took her to the vets to find out what was wrong, we then called 4 paws they then told us the TRUTH!!!! Can you believe they allowed us to take a dog home to children and cats that had this illness! Not only that she had matted fur and was severely underweight, had severe runny tummy and worms and fleas. She was not taken care of at the rescue centre at all, when I called them they were extremely rude to me on every occasion, because I had called them out! They also told us that the dog was cat friendly, and assured us of this, this dog is not cat friendly, it is a real issue and now our cats are too scared to even come downstairs. All in all a really terrible company, not doing things the right way, not taking care of the dogs the way they should, and should be shut down and not allowed to trade, it is potentially dangerous and putting the health of children, other animals and people at risk. Not to mention the amount of money we have had to spend on getting our dog back into good health, around 500 Please be very careful with this company they only want your money!!! Nothing to do with rescuing dogs, we already have enough dogs here that need rescuing!!! I will be reporting this company to officials.
