I don’t know-how and who employed those company to check on anyone and anything! I had a job offered by one a big retail company (Not NASA or NATO) in February 2020 now is the end of April and they are still checking me even though I was working last 8 years with the same employer! Today they have contacted me again to check my payslip and my educational status!! Very interesting that all positive comments have been from members of staff! If I can I would give them 0 stars!! Disgraceful!!!

Terrible customer service. Not willing to offer any assistance and continually provide generic and unclear answers to basic questions.

If I could deliver a 0 star review I would. Horrible company who act without regards for ethics.

Absolutely shocking experience. Had my file sitting there for days. They took ages dealing with my reference requests. I am utterly disgusted and disappointed and have never ever experienced anything like this before. Security Watchdog really need to improve their processes as their service is absolutely horrendous.

I used to work for another screening company, so when getting referenced for my latest job by the Security Watchdog team I expected I would be prepared with everything to make my referencing smooth. However, despite providing endless bank statements, accredited professional qualification certificates, and contract copies I receive additional requests for evidence as if the team never bothered to ask my companies for references. I get no status updates, and I am put on hold for a very long time on the phone. My referencer, Christos Nakoutsis, is never available. So a process that should take an average of 28 days took 2 months. In fairness when I got through to people they were very helpful, but I would like more visibility on the status of my referencing as, once submitting my application, I cannot see the status online and the only emails I receive are 'URGENT request for evidence' emails with little context to them. Please provide more visibility to applicants on status, please set expectations for evidence early, and please allow applicants to access their referencing through a portal to help update and add evidence.

I have been offered a job with a major retailer and even though the role has been assigned as urgent and business critical the team at Security Watchdog the team have sat on paperwork for days at a time. They took a week to send out initial reference requests and the last communication took a 5 days for them to respond. The team don't respond to emails when asking for status updates. This organisation is a shambles and if you're about to start the process with them as a candidate then allow for at least three weeks for them to do anything with your file. If you're an employer thinking about appointing them look for alternatives, these people will cost you time, internal resource chasing them (and not getting a response) and ultimately money as I can see many candidates looking for alternative employment because of their inept practices.

I have been working at SW for 9 months as Personal Assistant to the MD and 6 Directors and have also recently taken over Talent Management. I cannot tell you how much I love my job. Every day I am faced with new challenges but I go home every night with great job satisfaction. The business itself is first class and the staff are incredibly motivated and supportive of each other. I personally feel extremely lucky to be part of such an amazing business.
