Great service and great food. The waitress was happy to explain the menu and give recommendations. The best tasting Korean and Japanese food I have tried, and at a great price, in a no thrills and relaxed setting. Dont be put off by the location, well worth a drive out of Cardiff.

I only live down the road from this place and this was my first visit, the food and service was really good. 2 people well fed with 2 drinks for 50 can’t argue with that! The lady was really helpful as we’d never eaten in this style of restaurant before, so she was happy to recommend dishes and explain things to us. Looking at the decor you could be put off but that would be your lose. Great little gem hidden away. Will definitely be eating here again!!!
Fantastic Korean BBQ and Japanese dishes too. A small but friendly restaurant and BnB. Wish I lived in Cardiff so I could eat here regularly.
Our first time eating Korean, will not be our last. Everything was piping hot and freshly cooked to order, the food comes out at a steady pace just enough time for you to eat one dish, enjoy it untill the next one arrives. Cooking your own food on the bbq is a great social way to eat the dipping sauce cut through the fattyness of the pork perfectly the steak melted in your mouth, the yum-yum chicken was blood YUMMY!!!! the Bi Pin Bop (i think thats what its called) was a revelation, it arrives in a piping hot stone bowl with its acompaniments and a raw egg yolk on top, you mix it all together and the heat in the bowl cooks the yolk, genius. If you want pretentious and poncy dont go here, if you want FANTASTIC traditional food, this is for you. If i could give this place 10 stars, i would.
unfortunately, not the best korean reataurant or not even mediocre, for someone who has been to alot of korean restaurants and enjoys korean food this was disappointing. For the people who is familiar with korean food, i dont recommend the place. for people who just want to try, try it. Just 1 star for the effort of atleast oppenning a korean place in cardiff
