Undoubtedly, one of the most beautiful and cosy bars across Scotland, if not the best I've visited. Rose and Patrick are extremely hospitable and communicative. A lot of work has been put in the interior spaces which creates an amazing atmosphere for visitors. Patrick's food is delicious and unique and there's also a massive list of fine whiskies to enjoy your visit. The easiest 5 out of 5 stars review I could ever give.

There is something special in this restaurant and it is the owners, not everyday you are greeted by the chef Patrick (owner) asked for the food quality. His wife Rose, the kindest person is serving with smile and warmth. The food was exquisite, the whisky collection is impressive. It was like we were in Wonderland of food and drinks. You have to go there at least once!

We had an amazing dinner and whisky experience at seven stills. We started with a whisky flight which was a collection of Scottish whiskeys from all main regions. We then had the mains - beef and haggis, both of which were absolutely outstanding dishes. It was clear that they were cooked with great passion and heart which made the meals homely and so soothing yet quite exquisite. We followed that with a lovely light whiskey ice cream and absolutely crispy top creme brûlée. Both Rose and chef Patrick were really hospitable and added to the wonderful experience we had. Rose told us all about the whiskeys and helped us pick ones we loved while Patrick told us all about his love for cooking and the use of fresh ingredients, some of which is grown on side. All in all a really fabulous experience and we would have gone back in a heartbeat if we were around any longer!

Gorgeous food from Patrick, who genuinely takes pride in his (delicious) food and chats so warmly with guests about his creations...and wonderful service from Rose who was so friendly right from the moment she took the booking and greeted us warmly at the door. Such a perfect meal, great whiskey and a wonderful atmosphere. Can't rate highly enough! Definitely visit if you're within taxi/ staggering distance!

One of the best meals I’ve eaten in the UK! Patrick is a very French chef - he really cares about the food and about cooking everything from fresh ingredients. No packets or reheated sauces here. Great chat from the hosts and an excellent whisky menu.
