If, like us, your stuck in a local hotel before an overseas trip it's a close and quiet pebble beach to run dogs or kids around for a bit. Bit grim under the subway, to be expected, but a good view on the path on the way down to the beach. Park on the grass next to the subway entrance.

Little bit tight yard but overall it's okay. Loading went fairly quick.
Sea defence had to be put in to protect the railway lines
Great for rock pooling, nice and quite.
Clean and isolated with lovely views but difficult to get to. And wet......although that may not of been the beach's fault.
