This was our second visit with the same friends and we were not disappointed. I love the fact that the menu is not over complicated with endless lists of different curries. The service was good and we really enjoyed the food. I had the Paneer to start followed by Salmon Pata with pea and onion rice and mango naan.

Long over due review for an absolutely OUTSTANDING Indian restaurant. My wife and I have been fortunate to have been going to Lavang since opening night many moons and lockdowns ago; finally between the homeschooling I can pen some thoughts. We met Nash and Aj on the first night and they’ve treated us as good friends since. Their service is warm and sincere and they’ve created an excellent team and environment down on Fulwood road. They’re happy to offer suggestions for food and wine depending on our moods. In fact, their last wine selection has become our favourite wine of all time. Running Duck from South Africa. We of course prefer to eat in but until that joy can happen again we had another takeaway last night. Poppadoms, pickle, a lamb Malai Korma, a chicken Dahee Bhuna, couple of naans and a rice. We live local so all food was hot and flavoursome. The lamb tender and chicken moist. The dishes are deceptively filling. We’ve also tried a couple of their take home condiments and sauces from their new online shop. Very tasty. Good luck for the future, we hope you stay around for many many years to come!
Probably the nicest curry I have had from a restaurant. Really lovely food and nice atmosphere. Really friendly staff happy to adapt the menu for veggies
