I’ve just moved to the area and tried this bakery for lunch. This was their stingy salt beef bagel. I wasn’t expecting it to be piled on like a lot of places do, but for 5 I would expect more than one small measly slice. The bagel wasn’t even nice either, it was too dry. Half of the staff in there were friendly though (the others just seemed grumpy.) I’ve since discovered another bakery so have no reason to go back here.

Great place! Tasty food, excellent service and always a friendly face and a nice chat! Shenfield Bakery has been really great delivering bread, cakes and hot food to people who are isolating at home during Coronavirus. I never go anywhere else for my bread!
