I've been purchasing timber form these guys for use in my home workshop for a number of years. They have always been very helpful and friendly, delivery has been speedy and the quality of the timber supplied has always been excellent - apart from on one occasion when they supplied one sub-standard board out of a large order. When I mentioned this to Charlie he immediately replaced the board at no charge. First class service every time in my experience.

Just picked up my sawn joinery timber and very happy with the service I had especially in the difficult time we are in, I know I am fussy with my timber so I am delighted to be able to pick out what I want and be left alone, top job guys looking forward to seeing you soon I hope regards Adrian Anderson.

I needed to complete a project recently which required a number of different lengths of Beech in various widths and thicknesses. I would normally plain and rip these down myself but due to COVID, I lost access to the workshop I usually use. I therefore needed to find a company that could provide various rips of timber that didn't cost the earth. I tried a number of companies but none of them could quite provide the service Timbersource does - nor beat their prices. I used their online cutting list (which is very handy) which calculated a price and gave me a ball park figure of what I should expect to pay. I then emailed Charlie and he was able to give me a more refined figure. I must admit, this project was on a tight budget and I'm sure by the end of it Charlie got a little fed with my emails requesting changes to the list but his service was impeccable throughout. Timbersource has a 15 day turn around from ordering to delivery and they delivered well within that. The delivery was well packed in 3 convenient stacks with plenty of protection from the elements and damage. On delivery I noticed one 3 meter length out of the 52 meters I ordered had a number of defects along the face - easily missed but I needed it replacing. Charlie replied straight away and organised a replacement to be sent to me ASAP. I cannot fault the quality of both the service and the timber I have received from Timbersource, will definitely be ordering again on my next project.

I ordered some sawn beech from Sebastian via email in order to build a cot for our baby that is due in July. It came much faster than expected, especially given it was at the beginning of the Covid-19 lockdown. I think I ordered on a Friday afternoon and it came on Monday. I felt a little apprehensive ordering the timber for such an important project through email without having the chance to pick out the boards myself, but when they turned up they were all of excellent quality - no cupping or twist, and very nice grain in all. After about 6-7 weeks the cot is now complete and there has been very little wood movement, impressive given beech is notorious for this. Very happy and will definitely be ordering from Timbersource again.
