So helpful with purchasing a Christmas present, for a hat, without knowing someones head size! The hat was perfect and much loved in the end, but it was a comfort and convenience to know that exchange would have been easy. I also won a lovely scarf which was very much appreciated. She and her team of knitters made a special effort and got my order to me in a short time frame before I needed to travel. The scarves are elegant and unusual and everyone comments on them. A lovely combination of artistry and history make the Fair Isle book a treasure. The pattern combinations and organization are easy to follow yet appear intricate when complete. Organization by stitch count is genius! Acknowledging the history of design seems deeply respectful. I have used the patterns to create many hats; some for charity, some for keeps.
