My husband and I watch the show Shetland here in the US, and he covets the sweaters the character, DI Perez wears. I was out of ideas for Christmas after 20 years of gifting and thought I’d try to see who made the sweaters for the show. Some considerable sleuthing brought me to Mrs. Malcolmson and I’m delighted. I emailed her, we discussed size, color, simple or designed, etc. she sent me images, I picked and paid, all via email. She shipped it out quickly and our ridiculous post office held it in limbo so it missed Christmas delivery but the sweater is completely worth the wait. He adores it, it is beautifully crafted and I’m not sure he’s taken it off yet . I also bought myself the Lichen Fair Isle hat and she was lovely enough to send a free pattern from Wool Week. We will be making an order again in the spring. Thank you for making his holiday and for being so kind to me!
