Toe by Toe is a fantastic resource. We use it in school with pupils who still haven't grasped or secured the basics in phonics. They enjoy working through it and it's very easy to see the progress. Ten minutes a day; five days a week and pupils (and parents) are amazed at how quickly they can pick up a book and read with some enjoyment!

Toe by toe is easy to use. 5 minutes 3 or 4 days will give results. It's slow. We have gotten to page 50 (of 250) after 6 months. Our sons confidence with reading has doubled. We also sent him to a two week dyslexia summer school which also really boosted his confidence. I feel by the time we get to page 100 he will have 80% of the benefits of toe by toe realised.
We started TBT 10 weeks ago and for the first time in my son’s life he is able to read words and sentences, it actually teaches children to decode and encode words. And gives them rules to follow on how to deconstruct words. We would be lost without it..
Love this program. Had such a positive experience with my 11yr daughter that I decided to buy another book for my 14 year old. Love it xo
I purchased this book based on the praise of many many parents on Facebook parent's page for dyslexia. My daughter was reading at a 6.8 age level at 8.4 years old. Just one month later she is reading at a 7.8 level and we are only 1/3 of the way through the book. Not only has her decoding vastly improved, her fluency has too. And her confidence. The school has noticed as well. She has had various forms of intervention now for 3 years, much more costly than this, and this is the only thing that has made a real difference. I cannot say enough good things about this book.
Wow! Toe by Toe gave us hope; It got my 7yr old with learning difficulties making progress from the start. Can't recommend this book enough. As a parent, with no teaching background, everything I needed was clearly laid out within the book.
Toe By Toe proved absolutely life-transforming for my son. From a struggling reader with a fear of being exposed as 'stupid' at school, within a few short months of studying with TBT he regained the lost years of his reading age and improved his level beyond his actual age. His self-confidence and self-belief also developed. TBT achieved miracles in such a short time that no other system we tried came close to matching. I cannot recommend Toe By Toe highly enough!
