My old sewing machine needed a service. It was working perfectly, just needed a clean and oil. Took the machine in. When I collected it there was a fault with lower tension when reverse sewing. Took the machine back, the gentleman checked it and said 'That is the best I can do'! B I brought it home, only to then find the bobbin wouldn't wind!! Phoned again only to be told to take the top cover off and clean any excess oil! Still wouldn't work so phoned again and was asked to bring it back. A 40 mile round trip each time. A friend then told me about a machine repair in Wellington. Paid for another repair but it is now working perfectly. I was told that the machine hadn't been greased and the plate hadn't been removed. Unfortunately I have to give a star rating for this to be posted. If I could give a minus rating I would do so. I wasn't really impressed with the attitude of the man at the machine centre, not particularly friendly.

I can't speak for the quality of the goods but I made the trip over especially from Wolverhampton to buy a new sewing machine and found the shop closed until next Tuesday. As a business owner myself, I'm not the kind to begrudge a small business their holiday time. But they're a retailer who depends on foot traffic - there was nothing on the website or on any of their business listings to indicate that they weren't around. This company has lost my business - I'm an avid crafter and may have become a regular customer. How disappointing.
2 sowing machines fixed within the week can't fault the service
Can't believe someone gave a bad feedback. Personally, I have nothing but praise. Great service, and really helpful with advice.
