From the beginning of this process, UN1TY have provided the custom and service that everyone searches for when considering a big piece. Throughout the design process, I was able to trust Matt to craft and create a unique leg piece that adhered to everything I asked for. The actual process of tattooing was relaxed, casual and professional all at the same time. Matt doesn’t rush through his work to ensure quality never alters. Not only this but the entire piece was crafted through free-handed drawing which is an amazing skill in itself. No templates/stencils etc. Despite it being a large piece, I felt at ease the whole time as Matt was incredibly easy to talk to and genuinely interested/invested in his customers. So much so that on my return many months later, he remembered small details that I had previously mentioned - holidays etc. Pricing may be on the higher side in the market but you 100% get what you pay for. In my opinion one of the best in the country and for anyone serious about their body art, this makes it all worth it. Finally, the actual environment feels completely calm, relaxed and most importantly - clean! Their brews are also top quality! Can’t wait for my next session at the Big North Show, Newcastle. All the team at Un1ty are so kind and friendly and the atmosphere is beautiful and relaxed. The artistry and skill of Jo and Matt is outstanding and I especially love the way they work with their clients to come up with individual designs and ideas that are right for each person. The work Jo had done for me is beyond anything I could have hoped for.
I picked Jo to be my tattoo artist for a few reasons. The main one being that she specialises in scar coverup work. It’s often difficult to find a tattoo artist who wants to do this, or one with the right amount of experience. As soon as I saw examples of Jo’s work, I knew she was the right person to carry out the type of piece I was looking for! Jo is an all round artist and her creativity makes her work really stand out. It was great to work through my ideas with Jo in writing, with photos and verbally. With her expertise we were able to create the right piece for me. This encompassed a great two scar cover up, combined with a meaningful design that was designed just for my body. I’m so impressed how Jo has enabled me to celebrate a part of my body that was less than perfect. I have newfound confidence and it’s certainly had a positive impact on my overall well-being too! Hi, After a fair amount of trawling through different tattooists on line I was fortunate to come across UNITY, Jo has manged to design a new tattoo around an old tattoo one that I did consider erasing not an ideal answer as the tattoo was done in a temple in northern Thailand by bamboo by a Buddhist monk, so happy to be able to keep it... I could not be more happier with the progress and results the studio is relaxing and private which is great for such a personnel tattoo. Thanks to all at UNITY...
Upmost professionals in all areas of their work. I've had a full sleeve completed with Jo over the last few years and she is an absolute expert at large-scale colour and everything in between. The piece that she's designed and tattooed onto my skin is absolutely perfect and also a true work of art, tailored to the individual and unique in every sense. I couldn't be happier with my tattoo, it just looks amazing and gets so much attention from the public, due to its eye-catching colours and intricate details all over my arm. I can't recommend UN1TY enough and, in particular, Jo Harrison- as she did mine. If your intention is to get a tattoo that you can be proud of, then this is a studio that I would urge you to use. Certainly, when it comes to tattoos: you get what you pay for! X
