Both my daughters go to Sinclair House School and I can honestly say that they are both so happy there. After looking at many primary schools, as soon as we visited SHS, we just knew that it was the right school. Its nurturing and holistic approach to learning was a big draw and we could see how happy the children were. It’s a school with small classes, which is great for learning. The lessons creative and fun and they also achieve the results too. The school makes great use of all the local outdoor space and grounds. I would definitely recommend this school.

I have both my daughters at this school in KS1 and they absolutely love it! Their pastoral care is amazing and I love that they get so much individual attention due to their small class sizes. They both get to read with a teacher 1:1 every single day and as a result are really good at it and love it. Homework is minimal compared to other schools because they manage to teach them so well during the day. At the same time their results are outstanding. Although the outdoor space is not good, they take them out to the park and sport fields a lot. All in all a lovey nurturing school.
As a former pupil at Sinclair House Montessori Nursery in the 90s and subsequently a parent of children at both the Nursery and Prep School, I cannot recommend SHS highly enough. This small school provides an incredibly warm and caring community for children and parents alike. When my children started at the Nursery I was amazed at how quickly they both settled in and came to love their new environment. Both of them made incredible progress as soon as they started, which is a testament to the expertise of the teachers and the ethos of the school. When my daughter moved to Reception she found the transition easy and exciting, which I attribute to the continuity provided by remaining in the same school. She moved up with her friends and was already accustomed to seeing many of the specialist teachers as they also visit the Nursery children (not to mention Miss Sasha and Ms Carlotta still running the show!) The intimate nature of a smaller school meant that she not only got to know children in her own year group but also those all the way up to Year 6, which gave her a greater sense of belonging to the wider school community. She adored her teachers and the support staff and found the curriculum both engaging and challenging. I continued to be impressed at the rate of progress she made and how much fun she always seemed to be having. Sadly we had to leave the school this year when we relocated but my children still refer to it often with great fondness.
My two children, 6 and 8 years old, have been attending Sinclair House School for three years. They both are happy there. There are few children per class, and they get a lot of individual attention. The teachers really get to know their pupils. The academic level is high, but they don't put excessive pressure on children. The school cares about the global wellbeing of the children. The school counts with a nice hall for sports and PE, but the outdoor space is quite limited. There is a big public park very close, and they do activities there when the weather is fine. I recommend it if your child thrives in small groups. I don't recommend it if you like to have a big choice of after school clubs and a lot of outdoor time.
Sinclair House School is such a great learning environment. My two children have thrived with the smaller classroom sizes and the close community environment. The teachers and teacher assistants really care and provide an exceptional level of teaching and support. I could not be happier with choosing to send my children to Sinclair House School!
We feel so privileged to have found such a nurturing school. My daughter is so happy there and she's progressing well. I don't think we could have found a better school: such an amazing little gem!!
I could not be happier of SHS ! My children are so delighted to go to school every morning. The team is lovely, dedicated and amazingly caring. Every learning is done in a playful way. Our children have an incredible work atmosphere. The small class sizes are great for learning perfectly with confidence. The school is rellay concerned about our children well-being which is so reassuring for us. SHS is not only a school but also a real family for children and parents.
Lovely School, the staff are all wonderfully friendly and make a very warm atmosphere.
