I got a matching set of sgian dubh for me and my wee boy.they are amazing absolutely stunning art work in the hand.from start to finish i was kept up to date i was involved with the picking the wood for handles.he knows how to get you interacting with the build.it’s not like other people when you order something you don’t hear till they come through the post.it’s honestly start to finish he gets you involved amazing best experience I have had ordering hand made sgian dubh.100% I will be ordering again and who ever else orders will not be disappointed. All I can say from me and my little boy Joshua is THANK YOU SO MUCH.

It was a coincidence, that I got to know about Sindre knives, even though someone told me, no such things as coincidences!! Mads made us a wonderful bread-knife, so nice. When you have such a wonderknife, that you just want to have in your hand, then it is difficult to cut down on bread!! I will ask the neighbours, if I may cut their bread!

Mads is a UK based knife maker who has a wonderfully collaborative approach and takes his craft incredibly seriously. He sent me updates and photographs at every stage of the knife’s creation, and it was really cool to watch it take shape. I would highly encourage anyone who wants a unique gift for themselves or a loved one to approach him!!

I was looking to buy a quality sgian dubh and after seeing a review of one from Sindre Knives on YouTube I decided to contact Mads. The best decision I could have made!!! After agreeing what I would like Mads kept me informed and sent me pictures at every stage of it's manufacture. This morning it arrived and it is far better than I could ever have imagined!! If you want a top quality bespoke knife Mads is your man!!!!!
Jeg faldt over Mads' arbejde på instagram, og blev straks fan - hvorefter jeg lagde en bestilling. Efter det fulgte en lang og lækker proces, hvor jeg blev taget med i beslutningerne, udformningen, detaljerne og fik fyldestgørende (og mere til) svar på alle tvivls punkter jeg måtte stå med. På intet tidspunkt ville han gå ned på kvalitet og vejledning. I sidste nede står jeg med en vanvittigt smuk og skarp Nakiri, der allerede er i dagligt brug og performer. Kæmpe anbefaling herfra!
