A wonderful company to work for. From supervisor support to the outlining of your progression, it is by far one of the best companies I've worked for.

The café ' Kates @sitel has no hygiene certificate she has tried to get a fraudulent one from the internet be carefully people and have a pocket full of antibiotics !!
Staff treated very poorly, while managers and everyone higher up get invited to booze and drug filled parties.
When the government and health service are pleading for people to self isolate sitel decided that technical support for John Lewis was a key worker role. Shame on you. Put the well being of your staff ahead of profits.
I would recommend sitel to get work experience. I didn't mind the place, but hate the job role, the policies and it felt like being in school again. Theres always something they pick on and there's always something you have to improve. Hours are rubbish and all over the place, also don't take holidays because they will take it away from you. I have booked a few holidays before I left due to having an eye operation which is no fault of my own, on my last week with them they decided they will not pay me 35.15 hours because apparently I owed them this. So worked the whole week unpaid, despite all the over time, hard work I did for the company and recommended friends to work here, you will never feel appreciated by this company. Always over staffed and always hiring because people come and go. If you want a less stressful job then this isn't the place to be.
This is basically the human equivalent of a battery farm. If you're looking for a stop gap job from an employer you will employ anyone, this is the place. Be weary though, sitel moved all of its customer service to the Philippines last Christmas with the loss of 250 jobs five days before Christmas. Tech support at Exeter will probably go this way within the next 12 months
Be very careful if you want a job in John Lewis.
I have battle scars from working here. On the whole a positive experience but I have to say its the hardest job and the strictest in all my 26 years of working. I hope young people won't be put off by the world of work as this place is especially tough. I did experience discrimination for being a person of transgender which was unfortunate. This was just a few individuals behaving ignorantly. Management and HR did what they could to help but it wasn't working so I had to leave. I give 3 stars as they really made an effort. Its just a very very tough environment. Most people will be let go in the first 3 months for attendance issues. Or people just leave as they get tired of angry customers and impossible stat targets. The high stress of working here affected my mental wellbeing and my social life. I found myself feeling bad about myself most of the time. If you like stats and old fashioned protocol you will love it here. I'm grateful for my time and the people I met here.
