Really well kept and very interesting place to visit. Free but take a donation. Very good apple pie in coffee shop. Lovely cottage garden
I must admit I was a bit disappointed. Some interesting exhibits and enthusiastic knowledgeable volunteers, but I'd seen it all in about 30 mins. I think more volunteers are required to make it look better too. Probably a better experience with young children.
Fantastic little place. Nice to go, just get away from the crowds, have a picnic and relax. Friendly people, nice little tea room, good food, shmoo milkshakes for the kids, etc. Entry by donation so it doesn't have to cost a lot, a nice little bit of history to boot. Disabled access and disabled toilets with baby changing facilities too.
We went to the world war 2 exhibition. It was really good.
Great little hidden gem
Great afternoon very interesting Couple of the staff were very attentive to us asking questions about the exhibits The tea room is well worth a visit And a bonus we saw a fox walking around the gardens
Fantastic free day out. They ask for donations. We gave 10 for 3 adults and a 9 year old and were there for almost 5 hours.
