Helpful staff. Happy to advise feel no pressure to purchase. Enjoy workshops. Staff interested in craft projects I do. Very helpful when checking supplies for the craft group I work with ( a group with dementia) yes access is a problem for those with less mobility. Staff aware of issue&Happy to discus ways round this though. Overall a great shop, run by staff who genuinely enjoy crafting themselves.

This textile and art/craft shop has been in Skipton for over 20 years. Closed May 2018. What a crying shame when well established family businesses such as this are left with no option but to vacate their historic field of excellence and time served quality and melt away, seemingly for the benefits of the multiple conglomerates. So sad. They will be sorely missed.

No disabled parking and unable to access most of the shop as there were steps. The member of staff was lovely but admitted that many people have queried why there is no lift and the management don't seem to respond. No information (that I can find) on their website about it being completely inaccessible to wheelchair users or those who struggle with steps, hence this review! A shop may feel it's good enough to offer to "bring a selection of things down for you" but that's not what I want when I go shopping, especially craft shopping - I want to be able to browse and be inspired and choose for myself.

Really disappointed. We drove a long way to choose fabrics and had looked forward to our visit but we were closely followed round the shop by staff and felt pressured to choose quickly. The lady stood at our side as we chose , not even offering advice. When we had chosen we were told we couldn't have fat quarters as it's not their policy !! The sign in the window asking customers to zip bags up was not very welcoming. We aren't all potential shoplifters , we are potential customers . My daughter was putting fabrics back after we had been comparing them and the sales lady snapped at her All in all that was probably the last time I will drive 40 minutes to shop there. I was very tempted to say I'd leave our shopping , which came to 50 , and buy it on line . Improve your customer services if you want to keep your customers coming back .

I have never had anybody cut and fold my new fabric with such care. The lady seems to have been there all the time I have been going. I am so sorry I don't know her name but all credit to a company for employing such a lovely lady. I've just spoken with Julie and it is Judith that will look after your fabric. I give her 10/10.
