Excellent location for a bikers holiday in a very well kitted, family friendly home! Problems sometimes happen but it's how it's dealt with is what really matters. We arrived very late on a Sunday evening and could not gain entry to the house however a very friendly neighbour called the owner (I had no network coverage on my network O2) and the owner travelled over from a distance to let us in. 10/10 for dealing with this so promptly. Once inside we found a fairly new, well kitted and clean house with ample room for our small family of 3 however a family of 2 adults 5 children would be comfortable too. The owner seems to be a stickler for detail and has left nothing out. You will find all the amenities in the house from 3 different types of first aid kits (first aid, burns, eye wash) to the many types of spanners to repair your bike if needed. All electrical equipment in the house has been PAT tested and there is a decent barbecue trolley to cook up a meal. The location is great for mountain bikers whether a causal track cyclist or a professional mountain biker both activities are available from Glyncorrwg and you are less than a 30 minutes drive from the coast (car recommended) for other activities. All in all we had a great stay, with friendly neighbours, helpful owners in a very pleasant town house. Would recommend!
An excellent home from home to base yourself for mountain biking and outdoor activities in the Afan valley. Comfortable, clean and well appointed. The mountain biking centre and trails are less than 1km away. It's worth having a drink at the old Miner's Institute on a Saturday evening. Like a trip back to a bygone era!
A great place to stay and only minutes away from Glyncorrwg Mountain biking centre and trails. Had everything we needed there, plus wifi which was useful!. Plenty of room for up to six I'd say (only two of us stayed as one had to drop out last min). Definitely going to stay again once the wife let's me!...
I think it's fair to begin by saying you never quite know what you're going to find when you book somewhere to stay over the internet and are given a key code in return, but happily I can confirm that the guys behind Skyline Isaf have absolutely nailed just how it should be done. It's fairly easy to claim "we've thought of everything" when describing your accommodation, but that really is the case here - Skyline Isaf contains everything you need for a fantastic home-from-home experience... right down to a selection of CDs and DVDs to chill-out with after a day out walking or biking in the incredible local landscape. The kitchen is well appointed with all mod-cons, the bathroom has a good shower and plentiful hot water, the bedrooms are spacious and the beds comfortable and the lounge/dining area provides plenty of space to socialise or relax/unwind. All rooms are immaculately clean and tidy, and everything you think you might need can be found in one of the many cupboards or drawers. Outside, a sizeable patio provides further space while a secure shed allows you to leave bikes and other values worry-free. All in all, this is a highly recommended place to stay, and I would head back without a moments hesitation. Great work guys!
