The food was disgusting, greasy and inedible, I have cooked for years and would never serve food looking like this to anyone. Once I had called the restaurant to get a refund she had refused to give a full refund because \its only the lamb madras that has oil in\ . I understand in this tradition of cooking there is a lot of oil and butter however it was an unappetizing and unappealing amount, so much so that everything i touched was covered in oil and grease. its hospitality, people want to enjoy the food they spend their money on, so take care of people and you wont get bad reviews. She also hung up because it wasn't going her way. looks like I'm not the only one with similar views of the food and how it was dealt with. See last photo

Great place, good food but let down as I had to ask to clean the table where we were supposed to be seated - that's a minus star. During the difficult and pandemic times, cleanliness and hygiene is of utmost importance. Waited a long time for order to be taken, no water given ( that's not Indian tradition ). Broken glass pieces at the entrance and the stairway - that's another minus star. After a full 15 minutes, the place was cleared of glass. I'll give benefit of doubt to the team as the govt. scheme is going on for Eat Out to Help Out and hence was busy. Counted 55 people including us till the time we were there. Once the food order was taken, the food came in pretty quick. One of the fastest of any places I've eaten!! Guess over time they would improve. But you can't fault on their food quality and quantity!! Hope they improve and we'll be back to see the difference!!!
The food was outright delicious. Staff were courteous. The owners were really sweet and welcoming. Gonna visit this place sooner.
Non-Halal meat only- Muslim diners take note....nonetheless the veg dishes we ordered were tasty albeit too spicy for the kids. Served in what appeared to be a clean facility and affair. Prices on the high end really
These days Indian food might not quite get away with being called ‘exotic’, but when a restaurant is packed most nights, it’s a sign that the food is probably very good. Cooked in the North Indian style, all the dishes we had were nice and a few were very good. Our starter of lamb shish kebab came on a hot plate that not only kept the meat cooking, but also provided enough sizzling smoke to nearly choke us, but the meat was very tasty. We tried a few main courses, the lamb keema was as juicy as the saag was buttery. The spicy fish curry was more spicy than tasty as was the chilli chicken. The best dish was the lamb shank cooked in a curry sauce that was not too thick, but light and tasty. The lamb meat was tender enough to fall off the bone was just the right amount of spicy without being too overpowering. A nice treat was also the ramaly roti which is lighter and softer than a naan and doesn’t fill you up as much, leaving more room for the tasty curry. Overall you get good food with one or two great dishes. The price is also reasonable. If you can get over the noisy atmosphere and busy vibe (the staff are efficient but can get overwhelmed when busy), you can have a great North Indian, authentic meal.
