I had lessons for BE Trailer in August 2020. My instructor was professional, but extremely impersonal. I think that when you spend 10 hours one on one with someone it could be a much more comfortable experience if there is a small amount of 'small talk' mainly to be polite. I am sure that the instructor had personal issues at the time as I noticed him on his phone texting frantically a lot when i didn't require his full attention (practising reversing etc), this didn't bother me necessarily but i suppose it could explain why he was so uninterested in anything other than getting the lessons done. The state of the vehicle and lack of COVID-19 precautions really was a disgrace. The training vehicle had quite clearly not been cleaned in a long time. No hand sanitiser or other measures were presented, and only when i asked for some wipes did i find a pack of baby wipes under the seat. I was given old gloves to use when hitching up, i declined as there was no way that they had been washed. I really think that in an industry where two people are sharing a confined space for such a long time that an effort should have been made to suggest that Wallace school of transport cared about their staff & customers safety.

Fantastic experience! I done a week course with my test on the friday i Passed my class 2 first time with Jamie he is an excellent instructor with great road knowledge and loads of patience highly recommend jamie and wallace.
Passed my cat C first time with Wallace at Slough,extremely friendly staff from very start when I was booking my week course to the actual training from my instructor Jamie. Very helpful and plenty of advice which prepared me for my test. Would highly recommend to anyone who wanted there licence.
Very good and professional instructors. The training vehicles are fairly new as well. I would definitely recommend this place for HGV driver training.
Today i just passed my hgv class 1 with Wallace School. My instructor Jamie McGregor is one of the best instructor i have ever met and who was teaching me over standards how to drive an hgv class 1. Thank you very much Jamie.
