I've been making wooden sash windows for 25 years, and tried a number of different glaziers over that time. Shaun is the best. Particularly when it comes to traditional glazing with face putty , not many people learn how to do that these days, its all rubber seals and clip on beads. This guy is a proper craftsman, old school. I remember him telling me once that when he did his apprenticeship, he wasn't even allowed to handle a putty knife for the first few weeks, it was just hour after hour of kneading the putty and bedding it into the rebate & then watch the guy who was teaching him face it up with a knife. He's also a nice bloke, respectful around customers houses ( my line of work takes me into some posh places ) , tidy, and currently working below the threshold so he doesn't have to charge VAT. I have no hesitation in recommending him.
