The 'spa' facilities were outrageously filthy. There was 2mm thick grime around the steam room and filth in the main areas and around the Jacuzzi, and most shockingly whilst sat outside the sauna I saw a translucent worm like creature approx 4mm on the floor. All of which I showed a member of staff who came past, yet over an hour later nobody came up to clean or even look at the mess.

Played badminton at the leisure centre this afternoon. Very good facilities, easy to book on the app. We ended up with only 3 racquets and 4 players and the very nice man on reception let us use a spare one, with the handle wrapped so easy to sanitise before and after. Very pleased. Would visit again.

This is a great venue but it is such a shame that they are limiting access for local swim clubs to such an extent.

Took my child back to swimming lessons recently. They have Covid rules however you only find out what they are when you do something wrong. Signage is poor as I think it is on the floor only. I didn't have a clue on what what to do whilst there as nobody explained any procedures on entry. I did call before for information, however I just got told what time to be there and that the children have to arrive dressed for swimming, get changed at the side of the pool, no showers and they can get changed in the changing rooms at the end of lessons. The communication there is rather poor.

After another 3 months I thought I'd increase my rating from 2 to 4 star. Swimming coaching has definitely improved. Kudos to the management. Just short of 5 stars because whilst they've stopped using plastic for covering shoes, they need to work on ensuring the tiles are regularly kept clean esp. around the showers. Very awkward walking barefoot now.
