Solomon came to give me an estimate for reupholstering three antique chairs. He was extremely helpful, professional and straightforward to deal with. He repaired, reupholstered and French polished the chairs, which now look amazing! The price was fair, the work thorough and timely and I couldn’t be happier. I will definitely be a future customer!

Solomon has reupholstered many pieces for us, most recently a modern sofa, two modern armchairs and an older style armchair. They all look brilliant - beautifully done and delivered safely. This time we also purchased fabric from the extensive range he has available. Solomon kindly let me borrow the sample books so we could view the fabrics in situ. An all round excellent service!
Solomon reupholstered and gave a more contemporary look to my Regency Chaise Longue. The before and after pictures tell the story and I am delighted with the finished item. Solomon's restoration and upholstery are second to none however he also specializes in the sale of decorative art pieces/works including Arts and Crafts, Aesthetic Movement, Art Deco and 1960's/70's designer and retro pieces. The majority of the pieces on display one off items from both the UK and Europe. The shop sells glass and chrome lighting including lamp stands, table lamps and chandeliers. The Artwork including prints and originals on display are also worth seeing. Solomon is an honest, sincere and professional tradesman with an eye for decorative furniture and collectible items. I would strongly recommend a visit to his website and of course the shop in Crouch End which is now open again.
