I went to Kingsbridge and parked on cattle market car park to eat my fish and chips. While eating, one of your lorries came in then guy got out and threw sacks of clothing donated to the Salvation army in to the lorry after opening the cage door at the back of the lorry. I was horrified. I wondered what will happen to it(,the sacks of clothing). I took the number hoping to send email, but I found out anyone can not email using such as Gmail any longer so I am making a complaint this way. It's to do with the clothing going to the Salvation army as much as what will happen to the environment on the whole. The clothing are supposed to haveo been donated to the charity not to be picked up by the council to incinerate or landfill, certainly no recycling here with SHDC. No-one to check on SHDC actions. you use sacks and not containers so it makes sense that it will end up in landfill or incineration.

I have lived several places in England and abroad. South Hams council is the most inefficient, deceptive local authority I have ever encountered. They need to learn they are public servants . Thank God I don't pay them any council tax!!!

I have lived in South Hamm's for 18 months. It's not a bad place, but ready to move on now. The worst aspect of the area is South Hamm's district council. Any department, any service, or office is absolutely the most pathetic and inefficient to be found anywhere in the country. That includes Cornwall !!!!
