Once again, the experience of dp world southampton, is abysmal. the turn round times are way too long. the queues are ridiculously long, the time wasted is utterly unacceptable. just imagine, if any of us hauliers caused the type of delays that we experience, to dp world! you'd never hear the end of it! the complete lack of facilities for the hauliers and their drivers, is nothing short of a disgrace. there must be over two thousand lorries and drivers transiting the container terminal every twenty four hours, but not one single place on the dock, is there to get a cup of tea, park a truck for a break, get a sandwich..... the list goes on ad infinitum. i honestly believe that the directors of dp world in southampton, are in complete denial of there being any problem. surely, if they understood that there was a problem, they would address it immediately, and things would run much more smoothly. but they must know there are problems, its self evident, and therefore, they must have no desire to rectify the problems. that being said, there will be no improvement in service to the hauliers in the foreseeable future. it would seem that they do not wish to provide us with facilities of any sort, no duty of care, but without the hauliers and their trucks, what business would they have? the attitude is nothing short of absolute contempt for the truckers, they don't care about us, don't want anything to do with us, we must be terrible people. i just hope i might get some small reaction from this review, so that i may be able to understand why they loathe us so much.

Management totally unaware of how this place is run. If they are aware they should no longer be in a job. Poorly run, facilities a joke. 1 toilet for the thousands of drivers using the site everyday.
