Big and well equipped library. I took 1 star because the children's area could be better equipped. Other libraries are awesome for children, this one not so much.

This is a good library with a pretty decent collection of books, however they do NOT accept Hampshire CC library cards. You have to have a Southampton City library card. I should add that you can get one there for free and borrow books the same day.

Great place, quiet, well run and has been like this for many decades! Well done. Whether for work, or for a trip with the children, we are always well looked after. They have DVDs too!
