well went back to see what it was like.It looks amazing but there is one big problem that women that works there she was using profanity in every sentence didn’t have the foggiest what she was selling every time i went to get a drink she was sat down over all a rude unprofessional behaviour its really sad as this place with the new owners may have a good future she’s definitely not right for the pub and me and my friends will not be coming back. i hope the people see this

Lovely pub. Landlord and landlady charming and friendly. Food lovely too. Good choice of drinks such as rums and gins as well as beers. Not as lively as Dolphin pub across the road but still very pleasant.

What a disaster and what a waste of time.Do you know what I've eaten in pubs/ restraunts all over the world BUT Never experienced any thing like this Shambles the 8 ounce Rump steak @ 24 was not only Overpriced but not very good(I'm being kind) I would have complained but do not think the staff would have understood!!!! Or should I say taken it in.Actually the 1 star rating is far to high.AVOID AVOID.

Went for lunch but after ordering some drinks and 10 mins sat down with the menu we left. The staff communicate to each other by shouting across the room but don't seem to want to speak to customers. Won't be going back, the Dolphin over the road is much nicer.

I’ve visited the Bugle a few times now and it has always delivered on food. Great freshly cooked food with reasonable pricing, which makes a change from the average overpriced food you get in most pubs. My favourite dish on the menu is the fish sharing platter, the mackerel pate is to die for! You can wait a little longer when it’s busy, but you know that when it comes out it will be well worth it. The alcohol range on offer is better than most with local beers, a large gin range and the normal pub classics.
