Friends of The Southmead Project is rated 3 out of 5 in the category fund-raising. Read and write reviews about Friends of The Southmead Project. The Southmead Project is a registered charity providing free therapeutic and practical support to adults who were abused as children and have turned to drugs, alcohol and other ways of self-harming as a consequence of that trauma. The aim of the Friends of the Southmead Project is to build a network of corporate and public service members who support the charity financially, or in kind, and joining us in fund raising events with their companies and the public. Members will be able to actively take part in charity events, they can sponsor them, and gain some wonderful publicity for themselves and the charity, and they can get staff involved. Obviously companies can do this now, but we are hoping that by setting up the network, businesses around Bristol can work together to give this charity much needed support. At the same time we hope that businesses will benefit themselves from increasing their network with other likeminded companies.
