We decided to start using Kumon for our daughter during pre-school with the idea of giving her that extra confidence and head start for when she went to primary school (reception). It certainly worked and helped her through her first school year (reception). She is still doing Kumon and has just returned to school into year 1. I can't praise the staff enough at Kumon, they're friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable. They have even helped us as parents as there will be times when your child doesn't want to do the work and 'play up'. The team at Kumon helped us understand the different growth/learning stages our daughter goes through and how best to approach it. The biggest testament I can give Kumon Southport is how they have handled the extremely tough times of Cororavirus and the hurdles of not being able to have children at the centre. Debbie worked her socks off to find ways of still working with her students and continually tried new ways to give the very best service via online. You can really tell that Debbie and her team have a genuine care and love for the students. If anything being online gave us as parents an added benefit/advantage, as we learnt the techniques ourselves by watching, observing and doing it with our child. This massively helped us with the worksheets that our daughter does on her own at home. So in a strange way I think the restrictions have added a really helpful tool to us parents! Keep up the great work Kumon Southport, you should be proud :-)

Kumon has been excellent for my son. It's a rigorous approach that helps children learn through repetition building confidence and self reliance. The teachers are all helpful and engage well with the students and parents.
My son gained great confidence in Maths and improved massively under the guidence of Debbie and staffs after attended Kumon Southport Centre. I highly recommend to all the students to get a chance there. Kaythi
Debbie and the team are very professional and patient with our boys. Our two boys started Kumon at age 3. When we first approached Debbie for assessment, she told us that though Isaac is too young but she will assess him first and we will take it from there. After assessing him, she was happy for him to start at 3 years old. 3 years on, Isaac has really built his confidence and reads brilliantly. He is getting more confident with his Maths. Jotham who is now 4 years old is getting more confident in his English and is now excited to be starting Maths. I will recommend Debbie and team over and again. We deeply appreciate them. We were recommended Kumon from another Mother at School. I have noticed big improvements since my son has started especially with regards to speed and accuracy. I feel it has given my son a good solid foundation in Maths.
