Scott was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, patient, and above all, he really cared. The engine on our new 14 metre yacht failed to start just as we entered the Hamble river and we had to anchor under sail. Scott spent an hour on the phone suggesting how to test for various faults. When eventually an electrical fault was identified he talked us through a temporary fix that got the engine started so we could moor at our marina. Next day he came the yacht and did a permanent fix. Cannot recommend him too highly.

I have been a regular customer of One Degree West for many years and I can recommend them very highly. You need to have absolute confidence in your marine engineer, because they are looking after the engine that will get you home from the sea and I have always had total trust in the guys at One Degree West. Because of their reputation they are often busy - which is a good sign - so you may have to go in the work queue. They keep you informed, they only do the work that is needed and they do the work very competently. They have always been a pleasure to deal with.

Trusted Scott with my yacht, he messed up my engine and was very very obnoxious and arrogant about coming back to portsolent marina to amend his work. Nathan and the young lad are really nice blokes. Now I’m back in Southsea marina Scott just stares at me every time he sees me. No wonder why I see so many other companies working on boats in the marina and not 1 st degree. Just being honest would not recommend!
