My first review was a mistake !Apologies.I came there to view the place as I was passing .The nice guys let me and my friend in to have a look.Great place and very nice people.In future I will use this studio.

Run by really nice people. The rehearsal rooms in my opinion, are the best in Portsmouth. Excellent equipment and costs the same as the other rehearsal rooms in Portsmouth. We intend to start recording an album here later in the year.

I've been using Southsea Sound frequently for rehearsals and recording over the last year or so and I have to say that it has been the BEST 5 experience! The rehearsal space is comfortable, well equipped, clean and accessible. The proprietors are reliable, friendly experts who have a 'can do' attitude and are always professional. The recording process was a stress-free joy and the first time in 30 years that I have finished a long recording session and the band have all remained good friends! This really is testament to the quality of the facilities and the easygoing approach of the Southsea Sound team. The ONLY downside I guess is that they haven't yet persuaded our guitar player to turn himself down a little bit...but even miracle workers sometimes need more time! Tim and El, we salute you

Southsea Sound is a great place to practice, record and edit your music. Really friendly and professional attitude and smooth, professional recording, they really know their music and how to do their job. The setup is fantastic, with plenty of equipment for use and always willing to lend if you have forgotten a lead, tuner, etc, and plenty of space too. Upstairs editing equipment/software is suitable and able to do an excellent job on recordings. Really reasonable fees, I return regularly to practice and record. Top stuff.

An incredible studio. The time, effort and passion put in by Tim and El is second to none. They took on our project as one of their own, they were attentive and helpful way beyond what is required of them. Great people, a great atmosphere and great equipment. By far the best experience I've had recording and I would recommend to any like-minded people.
