Myself and two friends stayed here from Monday to Friday at the end of September. It is such a lovely place. Cabins are spotless and so cosy. Fishing is great and the place is very secure. The Bradford Arms is a great pub that does good food. The local shop has everything you need. The owners are really helpful and nice people. Will be going back next year.

Great place to stay. Dad dragged his cara box over. Him and the lad did some fishing whilst I took them for walks . Lots of wildlife and great fishing. Owners on hand if needed and very pleasant. I'll let Dad take me back as the nearby pub was great as well.

Being a novice at coarse fishing I was unsure how the 4 days would go - but with some help from the fellow fishermen I managed 3 carp 3-5-9 lb 6 bream over 3lbs 2 at 2 lbs and lots of roach perch -the cabins are lovely and well presented and well equipped- the only down turn was apart from walking around the 2 lakes there is no real walks for my partner to take the dogs -there is a narrow road that leads to the local pub that serves good food by all accounts and is dog friendly but the road is a death trap -very very dangerous-but theres not much the owners Richard and sam can do about that - both of whom are very helpful and friendly- oh and wi-fi would be a welcome addition even at a small charge -would I stay here again yes definitely but would need to get a taxi up to pub and back as road is as I said very dangerous -

Me and my partners family decided to book this for a week, just for a little break away from the city covid, and it was truly amazing, if your looking to cosy on up in a cabin in the middle of no where, this is definitely the place for you! It is amazing here, the owners Were fantastic with us from start to finish not to mention a lovely couple! There is 3 ponds on site directly on your doorstep! And a cute little dog called button who I already miss! Let's just say this little dog is the boss off the pond and loves a cuddle! Thank you for an amazing week away and we hope to come again in the future!

Beautiful, stunning place. Would highly recommend. Family owners are all wonderful and helpful. Lovely dog friendly log cabins and so very peaceful with beautiful lake views (perfect for fishing). Can’t wait to go back. See you soon x
