So helpful from pre order advice to delivery. On line ordering can be a bit impersonal, but not with Glotech. Communication by email and telephone, was excellent and timely with honest and practical solutions offered. I would definitely use this company again. Thank you for a seamless and friendly service.

The engineer did not know about the error code 09 I had sent which means the heat pump needs replacement. I told him but he did not bother, he just sucked the drain pipe with a vacuum and check the fault disappeared but now the fault occurs again. I sent him a text but he did not reply. Now I have to manage to replace the heat pump but I will certainly not call Glotech. He spent a maximum of 20 minutes and charged about 75 which makes about 225 per hour, I am not sure a doctor makes that much.

I spent 3,618 with Glotech Appliances St Albans in November 2018. The appliances were fitted into a brand new house in February 2019. In January 2021 my De Dietrich oven stopped working, just outside of its 2 year warranty. I called Glotech Repairs, told them it was a De Dietrich oven, exactly what the problem was and paid them 90 to come and repair it. The engineer decided the door hinge needed replacing but he didn't have one on him so would have to come back. 6 days later Glotech repairs call to say they can't get hold of the part and there is nothing they can do. We are talking about a 2 year old 729 oven! Purchased from Glotech! I explained my loyalty to their company and did that not count for something and perhaps they should try a bit harder to help me. No interest. I asked if I could have a refund for the pointless call out charge. No. To say I was stunned is an understatement. That such a new expensive product is a write off, that the service I received was so poor, that they were happy to take my money for a repair they knew they couldn't fix... I am extremely upset and now I need to sort the issue out myself with another equally useless company, De Dietrich Ireland. If I can't get hold of the part I will need to buy a new oven, a different brand, which will sit below a De Dietrich combi oven. I've spent 820, for nothing. No doubt someone will reply that Glotech Appliances and Glotech Repairs are 2 different companies. No, they're both called Glotech and this review will appear alongside the Glotech Appliances website listing. Don't go near them. I tried to leave a Trust Pilot review but they knew it was going to be a bad one so they seem to have blocked it, I can't post it. Funny that

I booked Glotech to repair a dishwasher. The first engineer had never seen the type of dishwasher and did not know how to fix it. This is disappointing since they knew the exact model before they selected the engineer. Another engineer was sent two weeks later who did a detailed diagnosis and said he had found multiple faults. Glotech then quoted 760 pounds for spares. I checked with manufacturer and they proposed 390 pounds for the same spares. Glotech charge an initially low call out fee, which makes them seem competitive. Then they offer an extremely high price for spares. This feels like they are trying to trick customers. I gave them 2 stars since the engineers were prompt, polite, tidy and professional. Will not use again.

I had to return a cooker extractor recently and I dealt with a very nice lady called Beth by e-mail and phone, she told me how I needed to do this and arranged my full refund. Very easy to deal with and a good price for the extractor in the first place. I would recommend Glotech, many thanks.
