Amazing looking restaurant with friendly staff and a real atmosphere. I would say this is a premium price steak restaurant on a similar line to the Gaucho chain. The starter was amazing black pudding, scallops and bacon rocked all the right boxes. However we appeared to have been served the wrong steaks mine was rare when should have been medium and a well done was also rare but given the time we waited we were reluctant to send it back. We then waited just over 45 minutes for the the bill. Other than that a fab place to eat, I will go back as I think these were teething problems for a new branch.

I came here as a Christmas treat last week with my boyfriend for the first time after moving to the area and reading the good reviews. The staff were really friendly & we were given complementary scones as a starter - lovely touch! I had the Rib Eye and my boyfriend had the fillet - both were cooked to perfection - Would definitely recommend. Very covid19 compliant too - tables spaced nicely apart - would visit again.
Booked this during ‘eat out to help out’ scheme. Couldn’t book a table unless we chose the 9pm slot, which we did. Wasn’t too busy. Drinks menu was on a QR code. Menu on paper on table. Lots of protection in place. Food was good. Unfortunately one star less as were ordered a Porterhouse steak medium rare, and it came to our table as medium. But on previous visits, it’s been cooked perfectly. Those mini, warm cheese scones are AMAZING!!
This spot has first-rate service as well as delightful meals. One of the best place around town. The meals served quick and the rates were affordable. Highly recommended.
