decent enough place but one staff member is particularly rude, no need for it and always spoils an evening down there.

Tables been reclothed recently plus increased hourly rate, but not brushed or ironed enough so gone back to dirty and slow. So why we still paying more for? Staff don't tell noisy members to keep noise down in snooker Hall even after being told. No rules posted anywhere for members to obey to until I complained for months. Tv screens in snooker Hall with bingo on?? Which no one ever plays! Never known another snooker club ever to have TV screens in snooker Hall, complete distraction! Still get the odd night ruined by smelly loud young idiots having a laugh. Understaffed most of the time. Snooker balls are about 10 years old with dirt and chips marks in most whites. Snooker Lights above tables need updating to the 21st century, still old lamp shade style with different colour bulbs. Pool tables have new led though. Some pockets don't even hold balls due to holes in nets. If you need to dry your hands though I recommend the air dryer in the mens A job. UPDATE 15/05/19: Table prices have continued to rise to now 10 per hour and the condition of the snooker tables hasn't improved, not brushed or ironed enough still. Tables 1-4 have had their lights lowered though! Yipee! Mens toilets are forever out of order or have some kind of leak and not fixed for weeks. Snooker Hall still doesn't contain enough rests for all tables. The brand new cloths that once laid on all tables is all but now a forgotten memory. I shall continue to dream that one day the club might update itself to the 21st century. P. S hand dryer in men's still doing a great job!
