I have used this company over the years and enjoyed the skiing, but it came with the cost of coaches breaking down on a regular basis, staff not being paid, blackouts in the hotel due to bills not being paid by the owner . Some of the stories from other travellers were far worse but I was thankful it hadn't happened to me. Well Covid and the treatment by the owner during this time is the final straw. Having booked a holiday before the pandemic and then having it cancelled and being told the owner was going to keep all the money and told to claim on the insurance. This seems to me to be unlawful, and when I claimed it back from my credit card the owner started to send threatening letters claiming he would take legal action over it. Please, please avoid this company, it is not worth the risk

Our skiing package holiday was cancelled a week before we were due to fly out because of the closure of ski resorts due to coronavirus. Snowcoach told us to make a claim through our travel insurance. They did not offer rebooking or a refund. Our travel insurance claim was declined on the basis that under the packaged travel arrangements law snowcoach are obliged to offer us a refund. Snowcoach have declined which is breaking the law. Avoid at all costs. They are not an honest company.

I have been with Snowcoach a number of times over the past twenty years or so, and would thoroughly recommend them. They only have the two resorts nowadays but they are perfectly acceptable. I prefer Valmeinier because the hotel is the closest to the lifts. They are the best value for money company I have come across and the coach saves 200 or so over flying adding 2 extra days onto the ski week giving 8 days of skiing! Also the coach is so much easier than flying or train. Just turn up and park your car in Watford, or one of the other pickup points, Friday afternoon, throw your kit onto the coach, let the coach drivers take the strain, and, traffic permitting, we can be on the piste 10 or 11AM Saturday morning. Solo skiers are well catered for with guided groups, communal eating, and there are evening activities in the hotel. Snowcoach can deal with your lift passes and have them ready for you and supply and fit boots, skis, and helmet. The staff are enthusiastic and the food has usually been good. A few hiccups through the years where the chef walked out and there was a bit of friction between a couple of staff. But it was nothing I haven't seen with any other ski company. All quickly sorted out and did not spoil the week in any way.

My group of 22 friends have returned from an amazing weeks skiing in St Gervais, blue skies and great snow but what made our holiday really fantastic was the staff at Hotel Terminus! Nothing was too much trouble for them, the ski hire was the easiestand best experiance many of us have ever hadat a ski hire shop,. The food waz really good and plenty of it, the chef even did a special meal for my fussy 8 year old grandson. The mini bus was always a short wait and alway cheerfully met at the end of the day. Really can't recomend a stay at tge Terminus more. Many thanks to you all. Helen Burns
