Excellent idea with the take away drinks and food. Friendly staff as always and delicious mulled wine for a walk in a cold day. Good job guys! Definitely recommend!

Was looking for something to eat, so we popped in on the spur of the moment. Basic pub meals, burgers, chips and pub snacks. We were only charged for our meals, when I pointed this out the lovely lady, thanked me and said that the drinks were on the house. The pub was a bit noisy as England were playing Iceland in sky sports, so the noise was completely understandable.

I often take my friends to this restaurant with my warmest recommendations. I go to this restaurant often. This recommendation is always successful. The the cooking is yummy and the team is welcoming and cooperative. Whenever we visit this place we pass a lovely evening. I recommend this place with pleasure.

This pub is in a great location, just off the main thoroughfare - and an ideal spot for the Wednesday and Saturday Markets. For me, and this is a personal preference, the pub is too dominated by TV screens and the volume is too loud when matches are on, so impossible to have a catch-up with friends. Also, as a cask ale drinker, I’ve seen occasions when two of the three on offer are unavailable. This pub is clearly a local’s favourite - just not for me.
