Worked a day for them in November. Was in Bristol so I commuted. It was freezing and outdoors from 8- 3pm but work was relaxed and food was nice. Was expecting 100 up to a 9 hour day (i think that's the normal wage with them) But Maddog Take away 15% commission. VAT. And the maddog yearly registration fee which I think is around 35 (!) I got around 44 for the day. Because the yearly registration fee is only take once a year, this might not seem so bad until you consider that once I go the work for them that year (which went well) , the emails stopped offering work stopped. When you consider that they have apparently 30,000 people on their books - it's easy to see how they make their money from hiring as many people as possible for only the one shift so they can take that yearly commission.
