Honestly, the food in this establishment is outstanding! I can hand on heart say that yesterday, I ate the nicest roast dinner I have ever eaten. The atmosphere was lovely, very friendly staff and very Covid safe. I'd definitely venture back.

Food was so poor I have to give it a one star. Gammon was cold and when informed was told it is supposed to be cold! As soon as the last morsel was ate they were trying to get us out. Lovely ambience but menu and food needs huge changes before we would revisit

Excellent service and we felt completely safe. Field mushroom starter was one of the best I've ever tasted.

Very well arranged tables ensure feeling of comfort and safety in convivial atmosphere in which to enjoy excellent food , steak and ale pie for my wife, H&W burger (minus cheese due to allergy and not too keen on pink 'burger relish' . Excellent pint of \first ferret\. Recommend late afternoons

Camping at the nearby Lytchett Manor location. This is a 15 minute walk or a 5 minute cycle ride away. Currently following Covid lockdown procedures like every other pub. But clean, lots of space to eat safely, helpful staff and reasonably nice food at a slightly higher price than independent pubs. This pub is part of the Hall and Woodhouse chain. An ideal place to come for a pint and a meal.
