The boat was sick. I took it to Dr O’Keefe. He fixed it! The little outboard now sings and I am looking forward taking it back for a proper rub down and antifoul at the end of the season. Top man Tim and team. Thanks
We recently aquired a boat and encountered a few dificulties. We looked online to try and find assistance , basically we had lost our steering control. I contacted Tim at Wraysbury Boat yard , Tim responded within 40 mins and offered to drop by. We quickly established the issue , he effected a temporary repair so we could at least enjoy our weekend on the river and suggested that a new helm kit would be the best way forward. Tim took my details and called me Monday morning , he liased directly with Pacer Marine in Aldershot on my behalf. I then went to Pacer who were so knowledgeable collected the helm and arranged for fitment with Wraysbury Boat yard the following week. Tim kept me informed of what he was going to do , the price and timeframe. Tim was absolutely superb , the boat was repaired on time , to the penny on price and we now have a boat with a completely new steering mechanism that is a joy to operate. I had read other reviews about Wraysbury Boat yard. What I discovered was a really knowledgeable hard working guy, really polite and totally honest, he has been in this business for 30 years and I can see why , his customer service to me was spot on, he listened understood and executed my requests in everyway and guided me through the task. Without doubt if I ever need repairs again I know who to call. 10/10 Tim top class , top job and a top company well done.
We showed Mr Bailey the filters and bellows etc that came off his engine. somehow we seem to have missed changing the sparkplugs, like any silly mistake I cannot figure out how it happened even with the benefit of hindsight, we of course agreed for Mr Bailey to bring his boat back to us to rectify this and double check our work at his convenience that was six months ago.
I wish I had seen these reviews earlier, I am currently being treated really badly by these guys and will leave a full review when it gets resolved one way or another. I guess thats the beauty of the internet in this day and age, that they will get exposed if everybody who get badly treated lets the world know on as many sites as possible. My story is going going to be a interesting one
