The Furniture Ombudsman – Established in 1992 by the Office of Fair Trading we are recognised by the European Commission, are full members of the Ombudsman Association and affiliated with the Trading Standards Institute to resolve customer disputes with over 5,000 furniture and home improvement outlets in the UK including leading furniture retailers and manufacturers. www.thefurnitureombudsman.org Rail Ombudsman – Following the Government’s manifesto pledge in May 2017 to “introduce a passenger ombudsman to stand up for the interests of rail users suffering a poor deal” the Rail Ombudsman was established in November 2018 to provide the UK’s first rail ombudsman service.
