Our first outing since lockdown. It was brilliant. As always the food was excellent with good portions and tables at sensible distances apart. A memorable evening which we shall be repeating soon.

A little after lunch period on a quiet Friday I found myself tempted by the display of salads & meets, the lady manager explained that they normally close at two & this was 20 past ish but kindly made us both up two very tasty baguettes for us to take away, we had previously purchased two bottles & she kindly lent us a bottle opener which we promised to return later on the same day, perhaps through the letterbox , I sort of forgot the little friendly village shop of my youth & how it all works, great experience will return one Saturday evening , jk.
Always have a great experience at Chez Joel. The cuisine is of a high standard because you're not swamped with excessive choices. Menu choices of a moderate size but that guarantees each dish to be cooked especially for the patron. Something for everyone. If you want a small, intimate restaurant with personal attention, Chez Joel is for you.
